Southern Choctaw High School Chapter of National Beta Club

The purpose of the National Beta Club is to promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school. Qualifications for Beta Club: Students must maintain an 80 average in core classes for two consecutive semesters. The grades for the four cores will be averaged. If a student falls below an 80 for one semester, he/she is placed on probation and has a semester to improve. If the average remains below 80 for two semesters, that student is removed from the Beta Club membership roster.
